Investigation of synergies between the JUNO and DUNE experiments and prospects of future projects

Abstract

This project explores the synergies between the JUNO Neutrino Observatory and the DUNE Neutrino Experiment. Both experiments are fundamental to advancing our understanding of neutrino physics, especially in the study of neutrino oscillations and the determination of neutrino mass ordering and neutrino oscillation parameters by JUNO are crucial for the interpretation of data from DUNE, which employs a high-energy neutrino beam to investigate these phenomena. By combining the strengths of these experiments, we aim to investigate non-standard neutrino interactions (NSIs), offering potential insights into physics beyond the Standard Model. In addition, this project will examine detector technologies such as X-Arapuca, with prospects for future applications at the Circular Electron-Positron Collider (CEPC). The project aims to collaborate with Brazilian institutions and international partners, contributing to the global research scenario in high-energy physics. (AU)
