Abstract

The research project addresses the Annual Plan for the Application of the Technical Reserve Portion for Institutional Research Infrastructure Costs, with a base year of 2023. The University of Mogi das Cruzes (UMC), through its Research and Services Centers, has appropriate physical facilities and equipment that guarantee the sustainability and continuity of the projects developed by its research staff, and the Institutional Technical Reserve is an essential resource in this process. In the period in question (financial year 2024, referring to the base year 2023), the plan for the application of resources approved by the Internal Research Infrastructure Commission (CIIEP) included various initiatives to improve the research infrastructure, including: (i) support for the UMC Animal Facility to meet the demand for animals needed in research projects; (ii) maintenance and acquisition of new equipment; (iii) purchase of consumables to ensure the operation of multi-user equipment; and (iv) adaptation of a room for telemedicine.
