Abstract

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the newest units at UNICAMP, having started its activities in the second semester of 2014. It has a teaching staff made up of 18 professors, all full-time, as well as 1 researcher. Currently, it has around 250 students enrolled in the undergraduate Pharmacy course and 103 in the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, 43 in the Master's degree and 43 in the Doctorate. This Institutional Technical Reserve for Research Infrastructure will have a significant impact on the advancement of ongoing research, in addition to generating new opportunities for the submission of projects in the area. In this context, the proposal for using the Technical Reserve resources was discussed and approved by the Unit's Congregation, with the aim of defining the guidelines for the use of these resources, as well as future RTI resources that the FCF may receive from FAPESP. The proposal for the application of resources was prepared in accordance with the Policy for the Application of Resources Coming from the FAPESP Technical Reserve for Institutional Research Infrastructure, which defines fixed percentages for the distribution of resources, meeting the general research needs of the unit and contributing to the improvement of research conditions in the laboratories of professors who, through research financed by FAPESP, collaborated with the Institution's Technical Reserve.
