Abstract

The Data Center of the UNICAMP Institute of Computing (IC) houses approximately 280 servers, focused on research (230) and institutional services (50), with capacity to expand up to 400 servers. It supports communication and management of academic activities, with two internet links (10Gbps and 1Gbps). To improve network infrastructure, it is necessary to acquire new aggregation equipment and SFP+ modules to replace 1Gbps switches with 10Gbps, increasing interconnection capacity and modernizing the Institute's network, benefiting students, professors, and staff.
