Abstract

The proposed application aims to consolidate a collaboration between two well-established research groups at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and the University of Lyon, France. Here, we propose visits and exchange of faculty staff, which will allow us to develop qualitatively ongoing projects, provide training to postgraduate students through seminars and workshops, and plan new collaborative grant applications, such as Thematic FAPESP and ANR-FAPESP joint funding of research. We see this SPRINT application as an opportunity to develop a long-term collaboration that will lead to a deeper understanding of the cargo molecules presents in EVs obtained from type 2 diabetes mellitus patients may aid in the identification of novel diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for bone diseases, a common research area between the two groups.
