Abstract

This project foresees the acquisition of pianos with a Disklavier device for the Multi-User/Auditorium and Piano Laboratories of the Unicamp Arts Institute and their inter-institutional connectivity perspectives. The request includes high-quality instruments for music practices and research - with prospects for boosting research and inter-institutional projects. The disklavier device that some of the requested items have encourages possibilities for developing artistic processes and techniques through interinstitutional network connectivity (both via internet and MIDI protocol). The aim is to have future impacts of the requested acquisition on the developments, processes and results of this project and associated projects, with promising perspectives of reverberation in the academic and artistic community of the area in which this proposal is inserted.
