Abstract

This project proposes a visiting professorship at the Pontificia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) with the aim of strengthening research, management, and conservation of the educational and scientific heritage of the Museu Escolar do Colégio Marista Arquidiocesano. The proposal aligns with the work of the research group "History of the School Through Its Objects: Ethnohistorical Studies of the Brazilian School (19th and 20th Centuries)," led by Professor Dr. Katya Braghini, who conducts research on school material culture and sensory education in Brazil. Through an interdisciplinary approach integrating the history of education, history of science, and museology, the residency will contribute to the cataloging and preservation of scientific collections, provide specialized training, and generate new knowledge about the heritage value of these objects. The collaboration is expected to foster international academic networks and promote innovative strategies for the management of scientific-educational heritage. (AU)
