Abstract

The aims of the project are: a) to further investigate the role of lipid mediators (eicosanoids and PAF), nitric oxide and endothelin in immune mediated inflammation (anaphylaxis and Arthus reaction) and in experimental models of allergic asthma, arthritis and pneumonitis induced by immune-complexes; b) to evaluate the role of lipid mediators in macrophage and NK cell functions as well as in experimental infection.
