Abstract

Through the introduction of noise, through the recording of sounds from the most diverse sources, and starting from its artificial creation and its treatment in the most sophisticated of equipment, the language of sound has grown in complexity, broadening immeasurably the horizon of enquiries into sound. To this end, our objective is to research, in the first place, the new grammars that have emerged and are emerging with the vertiginous increase in the entropy of sound discourse. The new perceptual experiences caused by the new equipment, the forms of learning, which no longer separate the engineering of sound from the sensitivity of listening, create a new conception of aesthetics which needs to be defined. As a consequence of the changes that have taken place in the means of production and in the mechanisms of perception, listening situations have also been revolutionaized. It is in intersemiosis that contemporary sound finds its volatile and mobile vocation. The research will try to study these relationships. (AU)
