Abstract

The present project encompasses different areas of research on quantum mechanics and quantum field theory, from the general problem of quantization, as the superfield quantization and the quantization of pseudo-classical models and non-Lagrangian systems, to the more subtle features of these theories, like the problem of self-adjoint extensions in quantum mechanics and the problem of borders in quantum field theory. There are also modern applications of the quantum theory, like strong backgrounds and theories on non-commutative spacetimes and two and four level systems in quantum computation. (AU)
