Development and characterization of hybrid eletroluminescent devices

Abstract

In this work we intended to build and characterize hybrid eletroluminescents devices, EL, made with a new composite of polymeric blend and of zinc silicate phosphor (Zn2SiO4:Mn, green light emitter) with which preliminaries good results was already obtained and still, try to introduce other inorganic phases to the blend, as for instance, ZnS:Ag and Y2O3:Eu to obtain the blue and red colors, respectively. The polymeric blend will be constituted of a conjugated polymer, as for instance, the polyaniline and its derived, and an insulating polymer like PVDF that will be responsible for the mechanical stability of the blend. The inorganic micro-particulated solid phase, introduced to the blend will be responsible for the eletroluminescents properties. (AU)
