Dependence of the alcohol: study of possible reduction of compulsion for the association of naltrexone with polyunsatureted fatty acid (PUFAs)

Abstract

The study naltrexone in alcohol dependents searchs to verify the influence of the association of acid the fatty polyunsaturateds (PUFAS. Naltrexone has shown to be an important substance in the reduction of the craving for the alcohol. The association of the PUFAS with naltrexone searchs to normalize offers of these acid ones that in alcoholics probably they are diminished by the deficiency in the absorption beyond the bad nutrition. These acid ones are the lipidics components of the cellular membranes. The modified permeability of the neuronals membranes is one of the theories of the effect of the alcohol on the central nervous system. (AU)
