Canine distemper is an infectious disease characterized by several clinical symptoms that obligate differencial diagnosis. Fluorescent antibody test has as problem the central nervous system irregular distribution of canine distemper virus. In addition, several virus strain have been described associated to more sensible diagnostic techniques as well as PCR. The aim of this work evaluate the PCR fluoresce comparetively to FAT in post morten diagnosis as well as to sequence the virus strain in relation to vaccinal strains normally used. (AU)
