Abstract

The research project aims to research the views of the student curriculum of various courses offered by this University. The interest in researching what students think relies is the importance they play in fostering what is intended by the curriculum of the courses and the relevance of knowing if the curriculum meet the intentions that students have toward the training receive during graduation. The students are considered in the curriculum current literature as agents of curricular activities and to understand their concepts about the purpose of their training and about the scope of the curriculum, it is of relevance to the area of research on curriculum in higher education. In addition, we do not have in the Brazilian Higher Education research that has taken the views of students into consideration when the issue of structuring the curriculum of undergraduate courses is studied. The importance of this knowledge is to enable to design a table of valuations that students make on the three main emphases of training - general education, basic education and vocational education. The inventory data will be a questionnaire to be answered online, with two parts: one with closed questions on the current aspects of the curriculum of different courses, and another composed of Attitude Scale which aims to raise appreciation of the students about structure and organization of their curricula. The data collected will be sent to the database and analyzed by the methodology of content analysis, taking Lawrence Bardin (1991) as foundation. The subjects are students of all courses whose Coefficient Progression (CP) is 0.75 which means that they will meet more than half of its course and therefore are able to say in the curriculum of their courses.
