Abstract

The research aims to study the imagery of Machado de Assis, its connection with the tragic philosophy and relationship with a pedagogy of choice. Is based on critical fortune on Machado de Assis, in Clément Rosset and Gilbert Durand. It uses a comprehensive phenomenology and hermeneutics as methodology. (AU)
