Photossensibility on lambs weaned and supplemented on pasture of Brachiaria brizantha cv. Marandu

Abstract

The photo sensibility of 80 weaned lambs of crossbreed will be evaluated in pasture of Brachiaria brizantha worked rotacioneded method of capacity, alternated with adult bovines with respective supplements 1% body weight (BW): A - (Basal supplement); B - (proteic); C - (proteic + zinc oxide) and D - (proteic + protecting hill chloride) on the following variable: 1) to evaluate the effect of the adaptation of the animals and supplemented to different conditions of handling on Brachiaria brizantha and the toxic of the plant in the lambs; 2) to relate these parameters with the genotype of the leptin in the photo sensible or not sensible animals; 3) to characterize the causes of the photosensibility and the possible control of intestinal parasite associated to rotacioned method (lambs and bovines) and the mineral and proteic with or without additive; 4) to relate the concentration of saponin and the number of espores of Phytomices chartarum gifts in samples of Brachiaria brizantha and the occurrence of cases of hepatic photosensibility. The experimental design will be randonmized complete blocks-type, distributed in four treatments and four repetitions, in a total of 5 animals by treatment. In the statistical procedure of animal's sensibility characteristics will be utilized the variance analysis by PROC GLM procedure (SAS, 2003), being the averages compared for the T-Student test by orthogonal contrasts with 5% of significance by effect of each treatment.
