Abstract

This research will be composed of two sequential experiments conducted during two agricultural years in Botucatu-SP. The aim is to validate a system of integrated crop-livestock for corn silage production, with alternatives for formation posterior for grazing, seeking to finishing lambs in semi-confinement. The experimental design of the first experiment will be a randomized block, with 24 replications, being two modalities of corn cultivation for ensilage: in intercrop with palisade grass {Urochloa brizantha (Hochst. ex A. Rich.) R. D. Webster cv. Marandu [syn. Brachiaria brizantha (Hochst. ex A. Rich.) Stapf cv. Marandu]} and in intercrop with palisadegrass and pigeous beans cv. BRS Mandarim (Cajanus cajan), harvested 0.45 m in relation to soil surface, in the ¼ milky grain stadium (grains with 35% of moisture). The experimental design of the second experiment will be in a split-plot scheme. The treatments of the first experiment will constitute plots and black oats overseeded cv. Embrapa 29 (drizzle) (Avena strigosa) broadcasted or in row after harvest for silage will constitute sub plots, where in both years will be allocated male lambs for grazing on rotated method with variable stocking rate and supplementation with ration (concentrate + silage from the same treatment). Will be evaluated the productivity of forage for silage and bromatological composition of silage, as well as the effect of black oats overseeded about: productivity of dry mass and pasture bromatological composition, performance, ingestive behavior, biometric measurements in vivo, biometric measurements and characteristics of lambs' carcass. The data will be submitted to variance analysis by F test and when are significant (p d 0.05), those will be compared by LSD T test (p d 0.05). (AU)
