Abstract

Este projeto apresenta uma nova proposta para a eletrogeração de peróxido de hidrogênio através da incorporação de catalisadores redox organometálicos insolúveis na estrutura de eletrodos de difusão gasosa (EDG) produzidos com pigmentos grafíticos condutores. Os EDG serão modificados pela adição de catalisadores organometálicos insolúveis contendo diferentes íons metálicos como elemento central, sendo escolhidos cinco compostos da classe das ftalocianinas que serão incorporados à massa do eletrodo em proporções iniciadas de 0,1% (m/m). A eficiência desses materiais na redução do oxigênio será avaliada inicialmente por estudos eletroquímicos (ensaios voltamétricos e de eletrólise a potencial constante) na escala de bancada e os resultados obtidos serão aplicados otimização da eletrosíntese de peróxido de hidrogênio em um reator de fluxo, monitorando-se os teores de peróxido de hidrogênio gerado.
