Abstract

The objective of this work is to study the benefits of inclusion of acerola meal (Malpighia emarginata D.C.) in broiler chickens feeding. For this, we will use 840 birds distributed in a randomized complete block design with four treatments and seven replicates. The treatments are: T0: basal diet (control treatment) - not including acerola meal in replacing corn, T5: inclusion of 5% acerola meal in replacing corn, T10: inclusion of 10% acerola meal in replacing corn, T15: inclusion of 15% acerola meal in replacing corn. It will be obtained data on performance, serum biochemical parameters and production cost of broilers. Statistical analysis of data will be made by analysis of variance and to test the significance between treatment means will be used Tukey test at 5% probability. (AU)
