Abstract

The project consists on the precise measurements of quasi-elastic angular distributions at energies around the coulomb barrier for systems involving weakly-bound and exotic nuclei. In addition, elastic and inelastic scattering measurements at energies well above the coulomb barrier are proposed to be carried out using the MAGNEX large-acceptance spectrometer installed at the cyclotron in the Laboratori Nazionali del Sud do Istituto Nazionali di Fisica Nucleare, Catania, Italy.
