Abstract

This research project focuses on the area of Software Engineering and more specifically software testing. Besides contributing to the advancement of the state of the art and state ofthe practice, proposing techniques and tools for software testing, this project contributes to the development of human resources in the area, through training of undergraduate and postgraduate students, who participate in its implementation.Five major topics are covered: 1) use of virtual machines in software testing; 2) definition of test oracles for programs with graphical output; 3) generation of test data for Simulink models; 4) definition of test oracles for Simulink models; and 5) definition of test criteria for Virtual Reality applications.
