Abstract

The automation is becoming critical to the competitiveness of various sectors of the economy, bringing with it new technologies, adding quality and reliability in production processes. The development of an automated system for individualized nutrition using technologies such as programmable logic control system and radio frequency identification allow the performance of individual operations, traceability and process management of pigs contributing to animal welfare. The development of this work can help improve the quality and performance of this activity. (AU)
