Abstract

This project aims to study the daily individual feeding and phase system feeding (three phases) in phase growing for pigs. Treatments consist of a three-phase feeding program (3FAB) with 28 days duration and each phase a daily feeding individual program (PID). Treatments consist of a three-phase feeding program (3FAB) with 28 days duration each phase a daily feeding individual program (PID). The treatments will be tested in precision feeding system, using the AIPF feeder (Automated Intelligent Precision Feeder) purchased through project young researcher FAPESP (2012 / 0781-0). The variables, average daily intake (ADI), average daily gain (ADG) and relationship between gain and intake (feed efficiency) will be obtained daily through the AIPF equipment. This project will improve understanding of the individual response related to the performance of pigs and establish the advantages of precision feeding system when compared with the conventional system.
