Youth and school violence: a study from the perspective of the imaginary educational and social inclusion

Abstract

This project is a continuation of the study about youth and violence. This theme was already developed previously under the program FAPESP Improvement of Public Education. The objectives of this project is to characterize: a) modes of integration of schools and young people in the neighborhood,; b)the imaginary about school; c) projects for life and imaginary of educators about the meaning of school for young people .The assumption behind this study is that every school has a type of insertion in the community. The inclusion of young people where they live differ by location attended .The study assumes that the imaginary of young people about school and about their life are present in the dimensions of school violence. The knowledge about these dimensions can contribute to elaborate educational propositions to teachers work with this problem and prevent violence in schools. (AU)
