Abstract

In many organizations, the pursuits of competitiveness initiatives are sustained unstructured. Many authors acknowledge the role of knowledge as a competitive advantage. However, knowledge is treated implicitly in the traditional models of Work and Production Organization. This research project proposes to develop a Knowledge-based Industrial Assessment process for the automotive sector. The research involves the integration of: Production, Work and Knowledge. The main result of the research, the Industrial Assessment Process will evidence the perception of the workers about knowledge factors; which contribute to the promotion of a favorable environment for achieving results for the organization and for people of work environment.
