Abstract

Sixteen horses of Brasileiro de Hipismo horses, males and females, adults, with two levels of conditioning will be divided into two groups, a lower fitness (LF, n = 8) and another high fitness (HF, n = 8). The incremental exercise test will be conducted in a specific sand track with simple obstacles (fences). The incremental steps will carried out by means of increasing heights of obstacles simple. Among the indicators proteomics will be determined the expression of transporters of lactate and H + ions, the monocarboxilatos specifically isoforms MCT1 and MCT4 to be related to the characterization muscle in relation to oxidative capacity and glycolysis, together with physiological variables used in the tests physical fitness and determination as the lactate threshold, heart rate, blood glucose, blood gas and others.
