Abstract

The project is studying the possibility of developing a process of institutional self-evaluation by a public school in the municipal schools. The research is justified by the need for construction, the school, the evaluation indicators that will allow you to communicate with the system in order to build a quality standard negotiated. The research builds on the work of Davis (2005), Sordi (2009), Souza (2005), Thruller (2011), among others. For its realization it was decided to approach qualitative phenomenological nature, guided by the principles of intervention research and adopted procedures that provide nature studies and documentary literature and field work to carry out intervention in reality. The project will be implemented through a partnership to establish institutional and personal exchanges between the Universidade Cidade de Sao Paulo with a view to the production of knowledge in the areas of theory and practice. This aims to build evaluation indicators that can communicate with the system indicators produced through large-scale assessments and contribute to the improvement of public education in the city.
