Abstract

This project is composed by two sub-projects which aim to: - adapt the backbone of USP's computer network (USPnet) to the demands of the CloudUSP initiative, a project of the central administration of the university; - upgrade and expand the USPnefs backbone; -introduce the 100Gbps technology in the USPnet infrastructure. The services provided by the network will be expanded and improved with special attention to availability and security of the physical, logical and operational infrastructures. (AU)
