Abstract

The project will be developed during the crop years 2011/12 and 2012/13 in the experimental area of UNESP, located in Selvíria - MS. The soil type is Ferralsol epi-eutrophic alic, clayey, originally under savannah vegetation. The average annual rainfall is 1370mm, the average annual temperature is 23.5 º C and relative humidity annual average between 60 and 80%. The project comprises five subprojects involving crops of maize, upland rice and wheat. The goal will be to study the effect of seed inoculation with Azospirillum brasilense to reduce dependence on mineral nitrogen for these crops. (AU)
