Abstract

The purpose of this trip is to continue the collaboration between Prof. Mazzucato and the author, together with Prof. Nussenzveig Lopes, from UNICAMP. Our joint research is centered on the vanishing viscosity limit for 2D incompressible flow. Two fundamental issues for understanding this limit are turbulence and boundary layers. We have two ongoing lines of research, one connected with turbulence and another related to boundary layers. The concrete objective of this visit is to conclude the writing up of two articles, one in each of these lines. (AU)
