Abstract

This project treats of a visit of the Professor Zachary Fisk from the California University (UC-Irvine) to the Materials Engineering Department of the Escola de Engenharia de Lorena-EEL-USP. In this visit the results about new superconductors materials, discovered in EEL-USP will be presented and the best routes of growth crystals will be discussed for such materials. Besides, it will be taken a mini-course through a sequence of talks proffered by respective researcher, in the area of techniques growth crystals of intermetallic superconductor’s materials. This proposal is justified, tends in view the referred researcher's enormous experience in this knowledge area, attested by the curriculum attached in this proposal. (AU)
