Abstract
The Prof. Ballesteros has a very strong interchange with the Singularity Theory group of São Carlos and in this visit he will continue to collaborate with research topics of interest of some members of the group. The main subject is the development of conditions to classify and understand the singularities of map germs. First, a study of the equisingularity in families of map germs defined in curves. The Milnor number of isolated singularities is another subject of interest. The singularities of finitely determined germs of curves and surfaces in the affine geometry is also of interest and the topological triviality in families of finitely determined analytic map germs will be discussed.
