Abstract
We propose to study a model for viscoelastic flows called "second grade fluids". The specific problem we will treat is the limit of such flows in an exterior domain when the obstacle degenerates to a point. We hope to further the understanding of physically correct boundary conditions for this type of problem. (AU)
