Abstract

The main goal of the project is a thorough and comprehensive study of 1-loop effects in massive theories of gravity, like topologically massive gravity, new massive gravity, generalized new massive gravity and Born--Infeld gravity. The partition functions obtained will be compared to that of (logarithmic) conformal field theory to check the AdS/CFT conjecture in 3 dimensions. (AU)
