Abstract

The activities to be developed by the Visiting Researcher are the following: 1. To develop the research project entitled: "Development of a New Optical Coherent Tomography System Using Localized Waves", whose detailed description is given as part of the documents enclosed in the on-line submission. 2. Professor Ivan T Lima Jr. will collaborate with graduate teaching activities at FEEC, lecturing several seminars related to the research project proposed, as part of two regular graduate courses: IE765 Advanced Electromagnetics and IE766 Guiding and Radiation of Electromagnetic Waves. 3. He will also deliver talks for research groups outside UNICAMP, with whom Professor Hugo Figueroa keeps a regular interaction, as part of the National Institute of Science and Technology Photonics for Optical Communications (INCT FOTONICOM), whose Vice-General Coordinator is Professor Hugo Figueroa. Professor Ivan T Lima Jr. is also expected to interact with other INCT groups, such as the INCT Applied Photonics to Cellular Biology (INFABiC), whose Vice-General Coordinator is Professor Carlos Lenz Cesar from UNICAMP, who is also a CePOF's Principal Investigator.
