Abstract

The visit of Denise Grenier, French researcher and PHD in Didactics of Mathematics, to the Program of Post Graduate Studies in Mathematics Education at PUC/SP aims to contribute to the study of theoretical and methodological aspects of teaching and learning of mathematics, above and beyond the initial and continuous formation of mathematics teachers, through courses, workshops and meetings. It also aims to deepen the studies and discussions on the basic theoretical foundations for the development, testing and evaluation situations of teaching and learning in mathematics, as well as within the range of classroom activities and problem solving. In addition, this is a special moment to anchor an international cooperation project between the institutions involved (PUC/SP - Université Joseph Fourier/Grenoble I). There shall be three fundamental moments for the work development during Ms. Grenier visit to our institution: courses, workshops and meetings with research groups and students. (AU)
