Abstract

To continue the development of research projects that the visiting Professor develops with several researchers of ICMC-USP, São Carlos and IGCE-UNESP, Rio Claro. These projects have the main purpose to study invariants associated to germs of map germs defined in singular varieties. The study of map germs defined in singular varieties is improving considerably in the last five years and professor Brasselet is one of the great responsible for the development of this theory. The projects to be developed in this period are: 1. Cobordism in maps defined in singular varieties. In development with Marcelo Saia, ICMC-USP, Eliris Cristina Rizziolli and Alice Kimie Miwa Libardi, IGCE-UNESP, Rio Claro; 2. Euler Obstrução of maps defined in singular varieties. In development with Nivaldo Grulha and Tais Dalbelo (Ph.D. student), ICMC-USP; 3. Characteristic classes of map germs defined in singular varieties. In development with Maria Aparecida Soares Ruas and Nancy Chabalgoity Siesquen (Ph.D. student), ICMC-USP. (AU)
