Abstract

The project consists of concluding the paper available at www.ime.unicamp.br/~valerio/publ.html. In this work we introduce a new method to solve period problems for minimal surfaces, by means of the support function. As an application, we give for the first time an existence proof of the sheared Scherk-Karcher surfaces. (AU)
