Abstract

Professor Yves Clot's visit to LAEL, the graduate program of Applied Linguistics at PUC-SP, in collaboration with other institutions, particularly the Department of Public Health in São Bernardo do Campo, aims at discussing Brazilian researches which analyze teachers' work in order to initiate a debate on the theoretical principles developed by CNAM's work psychology team. It also aims at discussing the analytical framework of the texts produced within the work situation researched by LAEL's group and other research groups. The work plan to be developed within a week, from June 17 to June 22 of 2012, focuses on the discussion and exchange of research based on the presentations by junior and senior researchers, as well as meetings of research groups, and a conference, all aiming at exchanging scientific work focused on the analysis of teachers' work. This work of developing new methodological procedures of collecting and analyzing teachers' work experiences may give rise to new opportunities for future research on the development of practical tools for teaching development.
