Abstract

Dr. Marco Filice is a young researcher, member of the Spanish group led by Dr. José Manuel Guisán, a global benchmark in the field of enzyme immobilization. With his coming, Marco will participate in projects of enzyme immobilization that are being developed in the Laboratory of Enzymology of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UNESP - Araraquara), as the enzymatic hydrolysis of whey proteins with proteolytic enzymes immobilized aimed at the producing bioactive peptides, and multipoint covalent immobilization of the enzymes alcalase, naringinase, invertase, lipase and laccase. Additionally, it will be offered a subject in Post-graduation programs in Biotechnology (IQ) and Food and Nutrition (FCFAr), and lectures at UNESP Rio Claro and UFSCar. Complementing the participation in these activities, the visitor will also participate in board of examiners of the doctoral thesis defense of a post-graduate student who held a sandwich period in the Spanish laboratory.
