Abstract
The muscular dystrophies (MD) are defined as a group of genetically determined diseases characterized by progressive muscle weakness and irreversible, and has as main change in the structure deficiency musculoskeletal difficulties in activity and participation of functional tasks. Faced with limited mobility a possibility of intervention is based on the knowledge of motor learning. This work aims to analyze the process of motor learning through a maze task in people with MD compared to people without change of posture and movement. For this work will be evaluated 40 people with MD who constitute the experimental group and 40 people without disabilities to form the control group matched for age and sex. We will analyze intragroup and intergroup values considering the time of task execution phases of acquisition, retention and transfer. The results provide data for future interventions using knowledge about the process of motor learning skills in people with MD, as well as contribute significantly to the adequate and effective intervention programs for this population.
