Abstract

In this proposal, the prediction of utilization of the Technical Reserve for Institutional Infrastructure of Research (RTI) of the Center for Engineering, Modeling and Applied Social Sciences (CECS) to assist in the adequacy of three research laboratories on the 8th floor of the Tower 1 (Block A) of the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) is detailed. Part of the adequacy, including architectural and hydraulic adaptations, furniture and fume hoods, will be provided by UFABC. The budget of RTI (FAPESP) will be used for electric adequacy and acquisitions of an exhaust fan and an air dehumidifier for these laboratories and for maintenance of a spectropolarimeter installed in Mutiuser Experimental Center of UFABC. It is requested the use of RTI budget of R$ 49,000.33. Together, the three laboratories will immediately help 22 researchers (professors of UFABC) and 40 graduate students, several undergraduate students and other researchers (postdocs and faculty of UFABC and other institutions in collaborative projects).
