Abstract

The Faculdade de Saúde Pública intends to create a Multi-user Laboratory, microscopy capabilities, which will provide appropriate conditions for researchers and graduate students have access to adequate infrastructure for conducting research activities, such as research, bacteria, parasites and fungi of interest in epidemiological surveillance (infectious diseases); in Environmental Monitoring (environmental contamination indicator organisms); food surveillance (bodies related to foodborne diseases), or even for the study of the movement of such officials between different hosts and environments, therefore of relevance to public health. Another important application is to the study of vectors of diseases such as dengue, malaria, leishmaniasis. Reform and adequacy in the building, which houses laboratories infrastructure departments of epidemiology and public health practice. Installation of air conditioners, appropriateness of electrical installation and placement of partitions in the 'laboratory of Bromatology. Exhaust system installation and installation of vapour of exhaust Chapel in Chemistry Laboratories of the Department of environmental health. Purchase of 22 binocular microscopes to equip the Multi-user Laboratory life sciences, shared use. (AU)
