Abstract

This research project is linked to the thematic area 'technological Evaluation in health', associates at 'work management' subject. Considering the joint between technological evaluation in health and work management, it intent to evaluate the instruments used in the work management in the Brazilian Health System (SUS), in the State of São Paulo. It includes some components such contract forms; type of payments and bonds; working time; work monitoring and accompaniment; staff negotiation at the primary care. The inquiry will be carried in case studies cities chosen for comparison selected by typology elaborated according to relative criteriaes: demographics; economics; management's degree of Brazilian Health System (SUS); health unities service density, amongst others. This project has a qualitative methodological approach and its involving documentary analysis about the regulatory laws, projects of laws, standard salary positions, and staff performance. Will be realized individual interviews with municipal managers, popular leaderships from the health sector and others social movement leaderships. It also carry out focal groups with the research team, previous to the field work. At the end of the study, results disseminations will be done with all actors involved. (AU)
