Abstract

This project has the purpose of development of researches about resources and strategies of History teaching in Museu Paulista, directed to special visitors; it means, handicapped visitors and / or people in social exclusion situation. We intend to establish patterns to History museums in this area. We're going to make applied researches, with the development of prototypes and their respective strategies of use, to implant multi-sensorial visiting circuits in the exhibition space. Firstly, well product a 'thematic set', based on the Museu Paulista collection, to promote significant experiences to visitors. These experiments will be evaluated by our team of researchers, educators and professional partners and promote a discussion about this public policy theme that will fulfill a scarcity of this kind of research and bibliography in Brazil. With the future exhibition adaptations, Museu Paulista will become an accessible and suitable space for both handicapped visitors and those in cultural exclusion. (AU)
