Abstract

The project seeks to study the legal culture of the judiciary that has acted in land conflicts the Pontal do Paranapanema between 1990 and 2010. Its main hypothesis is that this is a culture marked by personalism and the value of the hierarchy, historically inherited and that has prevented the progress of a culture truly democratic, despite the efforts of judicial reform.The research will examine a given set of judicial processes involving without land, as well as shall conduct interviews with judges. Then do a content analysis of these materials, guided by central hypothesis of research. (AU)
