Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between education, in their formative perspective, and cinema, understood as the screen (dispositive, language, art, speech, narrative etc.), Mirror (metaphor of subjective identification of the viewer) and window (proposition of the world). Processes that involve reading, interpretation and understanding of film narratives are privileged in this approach, which will lift the imaginary universe of films, from themed cutouts (contemporary dystopias, the metalanguage) and directors (Woody Allen, David Lynch and Bela Tárr). The references includes three paths: cinema (Xavier, Eisenstein, Almont, Bordwell etc.), education (Freire, Candido, Larrosa, Nietzsche, Ricoeur etc.) and studies of the imaginary (Durand, Bachelard, Morin, Cassirer, etc.). The methodology is based in phenomenology-comprehensive and hermeneutic-symbolic. (AU)
