Abstract

The Physics of New Materials: photonics, photonic band structures, control of photonic gaps in photonic structures, plasmon polaritons, gap solitons, etc. This project involves collaboration with scientists of several Brazilian and Colombian Universities, with some of the cooperation occurring for several years, such as the collaboration with the Universidade Federal de Alagoas, University of Antioquia (Medellín, Colombia) and Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia).
