Abstract

This request encompasses items that include Permanent Material , Consumables and Third Party Services to support our main research lines at the Museum of Zoology of the University of São Paulo. The Administration of the museum along with the Commission 's Research Unit and with the concurrence of the Deliberative Council, determined as priorities the purchase of equipments for the Molecular Biology, Histology, and Paleontology Laboratories, and the improvement of our security systems, control, electronic registration and management of our research collections.The present proposal includes the purchase and acquisition of the following equipments and services:1 ) Laboratory of Molecular Biology: an Electromechanical three-phase generator, a centrifugal vacuum concentrator, and a nobreack of 25KVA2 ) Histology Laboratory: an electronic scale analytical balance, a digital scale semi-analytical balance, a PH measuring machine, a vacuum pump, a hot plate for bacterial culture, a histological digital bath, and a chapel for gas exhaustion.3 ) Laboratory of Paleontology: third party service to reform the internal space of the laboratory in order to enhance and qualify spaces for the substantial increase in demand in the preparation and study of fossils that are being incorporated into the collections and studied by students and faculty members of the Laboratory.4 ) The main building of the Museum of Zoology of the University of São Paulo and the recently acquired building that will serve to expand our research and curating collections: services from third parties for the enhancement of the electrical, hydraulic, and digital data networks, the installation of a security system for the collections and laboratories, and the upgrade and expansion of the electronic management system of our scientific collections.
