Abstract

Regenerative medicine has emerged boost with the use of biotechnology stem cell (CT), characterized by differentiation, self-renewal and ability to generate multiple cell types. Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) can be isolated from several biological sources, such as adipose tissue, which is a promising source. These cells are candidates for application in cell therapy for many reasons and able to differentiate and produce many cell types, such as adipocytes, chondroblasts, hepatocytes, neurons, needed to repair damaged tissue. From that perspective, we highlight the contribution of biophotonics. The applicability of optical due, rather, to the existence of the LASER, whose properties make it excellent for use in scientific and technological areas related to health. The use of low energy LASER has been researched as an adjuvant in wound healing, and to promote increased cellular metabolism and reducing local inflammatory response. Both LASER and LED (Light Emitting Diode) are used for different applications in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, biostimulation of tissue regeneration and proliferation of cell growth. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of continuous and pulsed light 630nm wavelength using LED as biostimulant of rat MSC. For this, MSC fat rat will be cultivated in culture dishes in 3 different experiments: control, continuous light and pulsed light. Several biological culture parameters will be determined and assessed, such as time between subcultures, counting and cell viability, apoptosis and necrosis index, DNA damage, levels of cytokine.
